Congratulations Olympic Seniors
Season 2015 got off to a difficult start last night (Monday 16th February) with an away match played against Salisbury United. The game was not short of drama as both sides were awarded penalties in the first half, with both sides failing to covert. A red card in the 45th minute saw Olympic go down to 10 men as they battled to draw level after Salisbury's goal, scored midway through the first half. The second half saw Olympic dominate the match with their hard work and solid commitment resulting in an equalizer scored in the 80 minute by Jonathan Cook. Another red card was handed out to Olympic in the 88th minute but despite this Olympic battled on to draw 1 - 1 in a match that was not without much controversy.
Well done to Olympic for putting up a gutsy show of strength whilst up against such overwhelming odds.
